Brazilian Black Bean Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 oignon, chopped
  • 2 gousses ail, hachees
  • 2 moyen yam, pele, en de

  • 14.5 oz pelati
  • 1 small chili pepper, hache fin
  • 1 16oz can black beans, drained
  • 1 16 oz can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 packet mangue, gelees, Trader's Joe
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, hache
  • 1/4 tsp sel
  • 1 1/2 cup eau

Instructions

Begin by cooking the onion and garlic in the oil in the pot. Add sweet potatoes, bell pepper, diced tomatoes, and green chili, also the water. Boil, then reduce to simmer for 10-15' - until sweet potatoes are tender. Gently stir in black beans; simmer gently for 5'. Last add the mango, cilatro, and salt. Serve with rice.
