Marinated Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 lb champignons, en lamelles
  • 1/4 cup citron, jus
  • 1/2 cup huile d'olive
  • 2 oignon vert, coupe fin
  • 1/4 cup persil, snipped
  • 1 gousse ail, hache fin
  • 3/4 tsp sel
  • 1/4 tsp poivre
  • paprika
  • pita, petites

Instructions

Mix mushrooms and lemon juice in large bowl. Stir in oil, green onion, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper. Toss. Cover and refrigerate, stirring occasionally at least 3 hours. Just before serving remove to salad bowl with slotted spoon. Sprinkle with paprika, garnish with parsley. Fill into pita pockets.
