Sri Lanka Ground Beef Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boeuf hache
  • 2 moyens oignon, haches
  • 2 moyennes p-d-t, en des
  • 1 poivron, hache
  • 2 Tbl huile
  • 2 1/2 cup eau
  • 1/4 cup noix de coco, shredded
  • 2 Tbl puree tomate
  • 2 minces gingembre, rondelles
  • 1 baton cannelle
  • 1 clou de giroffle
  • 1 1/2 tsp sel
  • 1 tsp curry
  • 1 tsp chilli
  • 1/2 turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp cardamon
  • 3 cups riz, cuit
  • 1 ananas, boite
  • lait de coco

Instructions

Cook and stir beef, onions, potatoes and green pepper in oil in skillet over medium heat until beef is brown; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except rice and ananas. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered until vegetables are tender and mixture is desired consistency, 20-30- minutes. Remove ginger root, cinnamon and clove, Serve with rice an dananas.
