Strawberry-Rhubarb Crunc

Ingredients

  • 1 cup farine
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal, old fashioned
  • 1 cup sucre brun
  • 1/2 cup margarine, fondu
  • 1 tsp cannelle
  • 1/2 cup sucre
  • 2 Tbsp maizena
  • 1 cup eau
  • 1 Tsp vanille
  • 3 cups rhubarbe, chopped
  • 1 cup fraises, en 2

Instructions

Heat oven to 350 F. Mix flour, oatmeal, sugar , butter and cinnamon together until crumbly. Press half of the crumb mixture into bottom of a 9' baking pan (grande OK). Mix sugar, cornstarch, water and vanilla in a medium sauce pan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and clear, about 5'. Set aside. Mix rhubarb and strawberries together gently. Place tossed fruit over the crumb mixture in the prepared pan. Pour liquid over fruit; top with remaining crumbs. 350 F - until crisp.
