Wild Rice

Ingredients
- 1 cup riz sauvage
- 1 1/2 cups eau, ou bouillon
- sel
- 1 oignon, hache
- 1/4 cup cassis, ou raisins secs
- 1/2 cup amandes, en batonnets
- 3 Tbsp beurre
Instructions
Pour the rice into the water. Bring to a boil on high heat, covered. Reduce the heat, simmer for 30'. Fry the onions in the butter until golden. Add the currents. Fry 5'. Set aside. Toast the almonds in the frying pan over medium heat, 3-5'. Set aside. Just before serving the rice, add the onions, currents and almonds. Mix well.
